Serves 4 6 bananas 6 level tablespoons dark brown sugar 50g vegan margarine 2-3 tablespoons brandy or lemon juice 1. Peel and cut each banana into 4 pieces. 2. Melt the margarine, add the bananas and cook over a gentle heat for 5 minutes, turning the bananas. 3. Sprinkle over sugar and cook gently, stirring until sugar bubbles. 4. Remove from heat, stir in brandy or lemon juice and serve hot with vegan cream or ice cream. This sweet can also be served cold. |
