| Oil to fry onions | Ratatouille |
| 2 large onions, peeled and finely chopped | Garlic mushrooms |
| 1 teaspoon dried thyme | |
| 1 tablespoon flour | |
| 5 fl oz water | |
| 8 oz nuts | |
| 4 oz breadcrumbs | |
| 1 tablespoon lemon juice | |
| salt and pepper | |
| dried breadcrumbs to put in base of tins | |
| 1. Preheat oven to 200C or Gas Mark 6 | |
| 2. Fry onions gently in oil gently for 10 minutes until tender. | |
| 3. Add thyme and flour. Stir for 1-2 minutes, then add water and stir until thickened. | |
| 4. Remove from heat and add nuts, breadcrumbs, lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well. | |
| 5. Grease bun tins and sprinkle with dried breadcrumbs. | |
| 6. Press spoonfuls of nut 'pastry' in to fit bun tins | |
| 7. Bake for 15-20 minutes | |
